Mustang Strings Varsity
Mustang Strings is an extracurricular string ensemble that functions as the ambassador of the MVHS Strings Department. The ensemble performs for a variety of concerts as well as the December Collage concert. Students perform music of various styles such as: Classical, Pop, Rock, Folk, and International Styles in an expressive manner.
Mustang Strings Varsity rehearses every Tuesday from 2:45-4:15pm.
Audition Information for Mustang Strings Varsity: (AUDITIONS FOR 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR ARE NOW CLOSED)
Students will play a 1-2 minute solo of his/her choice and the assigned scale. Please focus on demonstrating: musicality, sensitivity, and ability to play with passion. Students can sign up for an audition through Google Classroom with Ms. West in the fall.

Mustang Strings Junior Varsity (JVMS)
JV Mustang Strings is an extracurricular string ensemble that meets every Thursday from 2:45-3:45PM. JVMS performs within the community and at the extra-curricular concert in March. Students perform music of various styles such as: Classical, Pop, Rock, Folk and Movie music, and student input on repertoire is encouraged.
