​​Metea Valley High School has been named a Grammy Signature Gold School, one of just three in the country to receive the honor and the $3,500 grant accompanying it. View the GRAMMY press release. The selection was made by the Grammy Foundation, which chooses schools based on their "outstanding commitment to music education." In addition to the financial prize, the school will be presented with special Grammy award this spring, according  to a news release from Indian Prairie School District 204.  ​
