SING, DRUM, PLAY!

Sing, Drum, Play! Description:
During this camp, students will have a chance to sing, dance, and play instruments with other students their age. The campers first learn a song through singing. We add percussion instruments such as xylophones and glockenspiels, and a significant amount of drumming. We also learn to sing with harmony, and add dance. They will have a rich musical experience beyond the everyday music classroom. Sing, Drum, and Play is open to all students entering grades 4-6.

All music students welcome - no experience required! Join us for a unique, hands-on learning opportunity about Korean traditional drumming and Steel Band. No experience is required as we will teach you how to play actual drums and gongs from Korea, Steel Pans from Trinidad, and other world percussion instruments. Our goal is to learn a piece that we can perform at the end of the week to showcase your work.
